Unlayered Slicer has a web tab called Universe, and World has a page made for it, [benchy.world/universe](https://benchy.world/universe): listings with a non-planar print file attached, sized to fit the tab. No released build of the slicer opens it yet; until one does, the page works in any browser.

## Open a print file [#open-a-file]

In the slicer tab, each print file has **Open in slicer** beside its download link. The slicer downloads the file, checks it, and opens it. If the slicer asks whether to replace your current project and you say no, nothing changes. The download link always works too.

Browsing needs no account. Taking a file needs you to be signed in, as everywhere on World.

## Publish from your plate [#publish]

Choose **Publish your plate**, then **Take the plate**. Give the listing a title and a license, and choose **Save as draft**. Benchy saves the project from your plate as a private draft listing on World; **Finish in your browser** opens it there. Nothing is public until you publish it.

## Sign in from the slicer [#signing-in]

The tab can't show World's sign-in page, so it pairs with your browser instead:

1. Choose **Sign in**, then **Pair this slicer**. The tab shows a short code and opens your browser.
2. Sign in there and approve the code.
3. The tab signs itself in and stays signed in.

## Limits [#limits]

- The tab can't slice or read your slice results. The slice stats on a listing are the ones its creator published.
- Binary G-code (`.bgcode`), compressed or zipped files, and files over 256 MB can't be opened from the tab. Use the download link.
- **Open in slicer** gives the slicer a link that works for ten minutes and a few requests. If it has expired, choose **Open in slicer** again.
