Credits and plans
Each workspace has one plan and one pool of credits. See who pays for what, and how to set limits.
One plan, one pool
Each workspace has one plan and one pool of credits. Everyone in the workspace draws on the same pool, and it pays for every AI feature used there: Benchy's replies, image, video and 3D generations, and plugin tools. The plan belongs to the workspace, not to the person who pays for it.
There are no seats. Invite as many members and guests as you like; what they use is the only thing that costs credits.
Plans
Plans differ in how much they include each month. Storage for your projects comes with the plan. See pricing for current prices.

The owner changes the plan and buys extra credits from the workspace's Billing settings. Each workspace is billed on its own; credits don't move between workspaces.
Who pays for what
- Benchy's replies are paid by the chat's workspace, whoever asked.
- Generations and plugin tools are paid by the workspace they run in.
- Guests cost the workspace that invited them, never their own.
- Your own agents, such as Claude Code or Codex, spend the workspace's credits only when they use Benchy's paid tools there.
Limits
Three limits keep spending in check. Benchy checks all three before it starts:
- A person's limit. The owner can set a monthly credit limit for any member, and one limit for all guests. How often people can ask Benchy in someone else's chat is limited too; see Chats.
- A connection's limit. Every API key and connected app can have its own monthly spending limit, set when you create it. See Connect your agent.
- The workspace's balance. When credits run out, paid features pause until the plan renews or someone buys more.
See where credits went
Usage in the workspace's settings lists every charge with the person who asked and what it came through, for example “Bea, through Codex, in Bracket project chat”. Filter it by person, project or connection.
What credits don't pay for
- Your own agent's model. Claude Code uses your Claude plan and Codex your ChatGPT plan.
- Work Benchy Desktop does on your Mac, such as slicing.
- World purchases. Buying a model is a separate payment, and Benchy takes no commission: sellers keep the full price, less payment processing fees. See Selling on World.
